Resources for Opposing the current Recreation and Leisure Tax

Take Action Document - Contains an outline of the issue, names and contact information for key elected officials and a suggested email/mail sample for you to use.   PLEASE NOTE!!! As of July 17, 2009, this list has been updated - we need to be communicating with members of the State Senate AND the State House of Representatives.  If you were using the list published prior to July 17, please make sure you get the updated version and reach out to your House Representative as well as your Senator!!
 
We Oppose the Tax Petition - This is a printable pdf that you can post at your Pro Shop Point of Sale for your golfers, staff and interested parties to sign.  It should be faxed to the following number at least every 3 days:

Talking Points Flyer - a simple one-page flyer that illustrates the key points in our opposition to the Recreation and Entertainment tax on golf

Governor Purdue's Letter - a copy of the letter from Governor Beverly Purdue that outlines her suggested "alternative" budget
